Build your Co-op

Farming Together has developed a step-by-step tool to help farming groups to prepare the essential legal documents required to form a co-operative structure. The Co-op Builder was launched at our 2017 National Forum in Adelaide in June.

This resource assists farmer groups to prepare two documents required for registration of a co-operative under Australian law.

Simply register as a user to start building your Co-op. Begin with the Constitution Builder, then move onto the Disclosure Statement Builder.

These two documents must reflect key elements of your Business and Operations Plan. Download the Guide to help you prepare a plan before you start.

Once both documents are completed, there is a step-by-step explanation of the approval, formation and registration process with links to registration forms, in addition to other resources to help your start-up phase.

Download a Road Map of the registration process for a co-operative. You might also like to review this user guide.
